On Promoting the Professionalism Education for Medical Students

医学生是未来的医务工作者,他们的职业精神如何,关乎人们的生命和健康。因此,医学生的职业精神教育十分必要。医学生职业精神教育的途径可以从以下五个方面进行:继承和发展我国传统文化中的人文精神;以人文课程为基础,加强职业精神教育;加强医学实践锻炼;加强临床实习生的职业精神教育;营造浓厚的职业精神教育环境氛围。

Professionalism is an essential qualification for medical staff, for it bears directly to patients＇health and wellbeing. Therefore, education for the professionalism of will - be medical staff, that is, the medical students, is of great importance. The education can be conducted in the following 5 aspects： the course should carry on and further develop humanism in our traditional culture. It should be based on humane studies, thus to strengthen the education on professionalism. It should intensify medical practice among students. It should enhance the education on professionalism among clinical interns. Last but not least, it should create a good educational environment for professionalism.
