外燃式热风炉是一种先进的热风炉，已在国内外先进的高炉设计中被采用。在分析国内外燃式热风炉设计的基础上，依据工程设计专家系统的思想，抽取设计知识和设计经验，建立了设计模型和一系列设计规则，利用CAD工具在IBM－PC机上建造外燃式热风炉异型砖自动设计系统。该系统使用方便，操作简单，易于推广．主要阐述该系统的设计规则和实际设计程序．

External combustion hot stove is an advanced stove which has alreadyfound application in constructure of new-type BF at home and abroad. on the basis ofanalysis,associated with the thought of expert system and extraction of design knowl-edges and design experiences,a design model and a series of design standards have beenset up,at the same time an automatic designing system of special shape brick of externalcombustion stove has been built in IBM-PC computer with CAD. The system is charac-terized by convenient use,simple operation and easy popularization. A description of de-sign standards and actual design programs needed for this system is mainly given in thepresent article.
