Study and Realization on a Compressing Algorithm Based on SCM

提出一种基于单片机的数据压缩算法。该算法采用自适应差分预测编码,需要运算量小,便于单片机实时压缩。并提供过零检测功能来抑制误差传播效应。

An algorithm based on SCM is proposed to compress data. Adaptive differential pulse code modulation （ADPCM） is adopted. The algorithm needs so little calculation that an average SCM can have a real-time compress. Zero-crossing function is also provided to constrain error-spreading effect.
