Brief Introduction to the Water Cooling Apparatus for the Drill Pipe Welds

由上海西重所重型机械成套有限公司开发的钻杆焊缝水冷却装置已经有三台成功运用于宝钢钢管分公司。钻杆钢种水淬化后,焊缝热处理的冷却方式由以前的高压空气冷却转变为快速水冷却。介绍了最新开发的第三台水冷却装置的组成、功能、运行机制,分析了该装置与传统装置对比后的优点,说明了该装置广泛应用的前景。

Three sets of the water cooling apparatuses for the drill pipe welds, which were developed by Shanghai XZS Heavy Machinery Integration Company, have been successfully applied to Steel Tube Branch Company of Bao Steel. After the water quenching of the drill pipe steel grade, the cooling method of drill pipe welds is changed to the quick water cooling instead of the previous high-pressure air cooling. The constitution, function and operational mechanism of the newest developed water cooling apparatus have been described in this paper, and the advantages of this apparatus comparing with the traditional apparatuses have been analyzed, which shows the outlook of the extensive use of this apparatus.
