摘要
本文介绍了EPON的最新进展情况,指出EPON产品已经达到非常成熟的阶段。EPON不但是实现FTTH的重要技术手段,而且可以用于商业楼宇、网吧、视频监控、农村信息化等很多领域,具备很高的使用价值。最后,文章简单分析了影响EPON应用前景的几个重要因素。
This article describes the recent progress of EPON and indicates that EPON porducts are extremely developed. After that, it illustrates that EPON can be deployed not only in FTTH scenery, but also in more sceneries such as FTTO, Internet bar access, video monitor, village access. At the end of this article, it analyzes several issues which can effect the deployment of EPON briefly.
