摘要
荀子的义利思想,既继承了传统儒家的重义论,又有别于管子的功利主义,而是把义与利、公与私紧密而辩证地统一于荣辱思想的价值判断中,以先义后利为荣,先利后义为耻;同时,又主张义对利的制约性、先导性,以义胜利、以义克利。荀子重视制民之产对道德的促进作用,把义利统一起来强调道德与利益的一致性。荀子的义利思想对于今天建立社会主义荣辱观,构建社会主义核心价值体系仍具有重大的价值启示。
Xunzi's view of justice and interest inherits the Confucian theory of emphasizing on justice but is different from Guanzi's utilitarianism. It closely but dialectically combines justice and interest as well as public and private into the value judgment of the outlook on honor and disgrace, i.e., viewing “justice first then interest” as honor while “interest first then justice” as disgrace. Meanwhile, it holds that interest is restricted and led by justice; justice should surpass interest and overcome it. Xunzi's view of justice and interest provides revelations for establishing socialist view of honor and disgrace as well as building the core value system of socialism.
