Summarizing the media reports on meteorological disaster, this paper points out the existing problems and gives some comments on the mechanism of Japan television station to issue pre-alarm signals of natural disaster. The strategy and suggestions are put forward on establishing the mechanism of issuing pre-alarm signals of meteorological disaster and spreading the pre-alarm signals by television.
