摘要
卫星事业的发展,使得获取卫星在太空运行的图像资料成为可能。但是,由于图像数据的海量性、星上能源的有限性、过境时间的局限性,图像数据的下传,成为人们获取空间图像的瓶颈。小波图像编码方式拥有传统编码方式的优点,能够很好地去除图像数据中的统计冗余;同时,小波变换的多分辨率特性很好地符合了人眼的视觉特性,小波图像编码成为图像压缩的趋势。提出了一个基于FPGA为核心的小波压缩硬件平台,在系统构成、器件选用等方面,充分考虑到空间环境的复杂性,可以很好地完成空间图像的小波压缩编码。
With the development of satellite technology, it is possible to fetch the pictures about satellites' flying in space. However, limit power, short -time receivable and mass -data of space -image, holds back the effort to fetch more image. Wavelet -compression algorithm, hold the excellence of classical compression algorithm, can well clear up the statistical redundancy in image -data, and more, its multi -resolvability accord best with visual acuity of humanity. A system hardware platform based on the FPGA, according with the execrable conditions, is brought forward to comolete space -image comnression using wavelet.
