建筑慎言“接轨”与“艺术”——兼与叶廷芳先生商榷

Being Cautious by Mentioning“the Trail Connection”&“Art”in Architecture

从“建筑艺术”的文化性和中外文化的不同,论述了中国建筑应立足于本国文化土壤之上,慎言与西方的“接轨”;从建筑的双重性和建筑艺术的层级性、公众性,论述了“建筑艺术”只是指称建筑中的“艺术性”,“建筑”作为整体,不可能是纯艺术,仍应以满足包括功能在内的物质性为其首要的追求,慎言“艺术”。

From the angle of the cultural features of ＂Architectural Art ＂ and cultural differences at home and abroad, the author elaborates that the Chinese construction should be based on the native soil and the phrase ＂trail connection＂ with the west should be cautiously mentioned. Besides, from the construction ambiguity and the architectural art level, the public level, the author elaborates the architectural art only refers the artistry in architectural. With its unity the construction is impossible to be the pure art. Still its most important pursue is that cater for the materiality including the function. We should be cautious by mentioning ＂art＂ in architecture
