Trial Discussions on New Goal of Breeding of Waxy Corn and Its Developing Strategies

仅就糯玉米自交系和杂交种的选育、产业化等问题进行研讨,为加快我国糯玉米新品种选育,拓宽现有糯玉米种质基础,结合大型玉米加工企业对糯玉米品种的需求,应加快更新育种目标,与产业化尽快接轨。

New breeding goal, breeding of maize inbred lines and maize hybrid and issues in the industrialization of waxy corn were discussed in the paper. It was pointed out that we should speed up renewal of breeding goal and come into connect with the industry as soon as possible in order to accelerate breeding of new variety of waxy corn in our country, broaden the current germplasm base, meet the demand of large-scale corn processing enterprises.
