2006年5月，初夏的上海还少有暴雨的侵袭，但5、6两日的上海东方艺术中心歌剧厅内，却被一场《雷雨》笼罩着，人们在音乐、歌声以及演员丝丝入扣的表演中以歌剧这种艺术形式体味了曹禺老先生的这部经典之作。而歌剧《雷雨》的导演就是被誉为新世纪杰出导演的查明哲。
