体育产业作为21世纪的新兴产业将对我国经济社会的发展发挥非常重要的推动作用。在建设区域性中心城市的进程中,发展体育产业既是一项重要内容,也是一项重要措施。同时,区域性中心城市的建设为体育产业的发展提供了良好的外部环境。文中运用社会学的观点,论述了重庆区域性中心城市体育产业发展面临的机遇与条件,发展体育产业对区域性中心城市建设的积极意义及区域性中心城市体育产业发展的措施。
