Comments on strategic thinking in Flood Control Plan of the Pearl River

《珠江流域防洪规划》在编制过程中根据珠江流域的自然条件和经济社会发展的需求,对珠江流域防洪沿革、目前防洪情势、防洪思路的形成过程进行了分析,总结了流域防洪建设的经验教训,以科学发展观为指导,提出了珠江流域防洪战略目标、战略部署及实施意见。

Flood Control Plan of the Pearl River Basin conducts analysis on flood conditions, flood prevention evolution and strategic thinking for flood control, considering the natural condition of the Pearl River Basin and its economic and social development. Lessens learn from flood control practices in the river basin are summarized, and strategic target and actions for flood prevention are put forward, under the guidance of scientific development outlook.
