On Strategies for Development of Journals in Provincially Key Teachers Universities

教育教学研究是师范大学重要的科研内容,但教育教学研究与基础理论研究这两块区别较大,使得学报特色不突出。如果不尽快解决师范大学学报发展遭遇的这一瓶颈问题,学报很难取得突破性发展,有关部门应给予学术期刊以政策上的扶持,给予期刊社一定的出版自主权。考察国际先进的学术期刊,可以感受到我国学术期刊编辑素质与国际先进期刊的明显差距。学术期刊是作者思想和编辑思想结合的产物,应使编辑从不熟悉的领域和繁杂的事务中解放出来,提高编辑的学术品位,重视编辑策划水平的提高。

Research on education and teaching is an important content of the academic activities of teachers universities, but the incorporation of both practice-oriented and groundwork-oriented researches, which are different from each other, has obscured the distinctiveness of the journals in these universities. Breakthroughs can hardly be made unless the bottleneck problem is solved. Therefore, supervisory departments should give policy support to these journals by allowing certain degrees of autonomy for the latter. An inquiry into some of the best academic journals in the world shows that, as far as the editorship is concerned, there is still a long way to go for Chinese editors. As academic journals are the integration of the authors＇ and the editors＇ opinions and thoughts, editors should be free from whatever is unfamiliar to them and may distract them from their work, so that they can devote themselves to the improvement of their academic and editing levels.
