摘要
本文采用化学性糖尿病小鼠动物模型对东方五谷神浓缩液在糖尿病的预防及降糖作用方面进行了实验观察。结果表明，东方五谷神经浓缩液能有效地对抗四氧嘧啶的升血糖作用，减少糖尿病的发生；对已形成的糖尿病无明显的降糖作用。
An experimental observation has been made on the preventive and hypoglycemic activities of “Dongfang Wugushen”(a Chinese patent medicine)on chemical diabetes in the animal test model(mice). Results showed that' Dongfang Wugushen'inspissant is able to effectively counter the hyperglycemic action of alloxan,reducing the incidence of diabetes; but there is no marked hypoglycemic effect on the diabetes being already so.
