环氧化酶-2在人肾透明细胞癌中的表达及意义

The Significance of Cyclooxygenase-2 Expression in Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma Tissues

目的探讨环氧化酶-2(COX-2)在人透明细胞癌组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法应用逆转录-聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)检测62例人透明细胞癌患者的癌组织及23例患者距离肿瘤组织3cm以外的正常肾脏组织中COX-2 mRNA的表达。结果COX-2 mRNA在77.4%(48/62)的癌组织中表达,仅在17.4%(4/23)的正常肾脏组织中表达(P<0.01)。结论COX-2在人透明细胞癌组织中高表达,可能在肿瘤的发生发展中起一定的作用,可能成为肾癌化学预防的一个靶点。

Objective To investigate the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 （COX-2 ） in renal clear cell carcinoma tissues, and understand its clinical significance. Methods Reversal transcription polymerase chain reaction （ RT-PCR） was used to assess the expression of COX-2 mRNA in 62 cases of renal clear cell carcinoma tissues and 23 cases of normal kidney tissues far from neoplasm. Results Positive expression of COX-2 mRNA was detected in 77.4% （48/62） of cancer tissues and in 17.4% （4/23） of normal tissues by RT-PCR and there was significant difference in expression of COX-2 mRNA between cancer tissues and normal tissues. Conclusion COX-2 is over expressed in renal clear cell carcinoma, which may play a certain role in carcinogenesis and progression of renal cancer and be a useful target of chemoprevention of renal cancer.
