摘要
地方性节日与节庆活动成为当下中国城市发展中一个重要的文化事项,城市在借用、改造和“发明”节日的过程中,其实也是当地历史民俗传统重构及再生产的过程。东莞东坑的卖身节在传统再造的基础上,成为了权力政治、金融资本与地方性文化共谋的产物、伪狂欢及招商旅游的文化形式。
One of the important cultures in Chinese city development is characterized by the local festivals and activities. By means of resurfacing the festival, the local historic folklore takes on a new look. Taking an example of Selling Yourself Festival in Dongkeng, Dongguan, we can view it as a result of political power, capital and local culture, meanwhile, as a culture form of pseudo - festival and attracting tourists and business.
