摘要
E-GPRS与GPRS网络共享核心网,只需在BTS侧做部分硬件设备升级,结合软件升级就可以提供E-GPRS服务。相对GPRS而言,E-GPRS引入新调制技术8PSK和新编码方式,提供更高的无线数据传输速率。本文根据现网测试数据,对E-GPRS在多用户环境下的性能与GPRS进行对比分析,并对现网中存在的问题进行优化分析,从而保证用户的使用感受。
E-GPRS and GPRS share core network. E-GPRS allows data transmission speeds up to 384 kbit/s in packet-switched mode; these throughputs are required to support multimedia services. This is achieved within the same GSM bandwidth and existing 900M, and 1800MHz frequency bands. It is discussed in this paper is the trial between E-GPRS and GPRS in the used network.
