摘要
本文通过对一则中文语篇及其英译文和一则同等内容的英文语篇的对比,运用系统功能语言学理论讨论了不同的文化语境对原文、译文的影响,探讨了由于译文不同于原文的语旨而引起的译文语式变化造成的原语篇和英译语篇不对等现象。
From the perspective of systemic functional linguistics,this paper discusses the differences in discourse under different cultural contexts as exemplified in a Chinese text and an English text of similar content.It also looks into the differences between the Chinese text and its English translation resulting from the change of tenor which in turn changes the mode of the discourse.
