摘要 采用问卷调查法调查了非英语专业专科生英语词典的使用情况。调查发现,大部分学生对词典在英语学习中的作用有一定的认识,但是对词典的功能了解甚少,使用词典的技能和水平较低。建议教师培养学生使用词典的意识,教会学生正确、高效地使用词典,从而提高学生自主学习的能力。 This paper investigates dictionary using strategies by non - English major college students. The results show that though the majority of the students agree that dictionaries are useful in English learning, their knowledge about the functions of dictionaries are not enough. The students' dictionary using levels and skills are quite poor. We suggest that English teachers pay more attention to develop students' awareness of using dictionaries. Teachers should supervise students to use dictionaries correctly and effectively so as to increase students' autonomous learning abilities.
