摘要 斯腾伯格以智慧平衡理论为指导,提出“为智慧而教”是美国教育的未来选择,它在当今社会具有重要意义。文章介绍了“为智慧而教”的原则、内容和程序,分析了智慧课程有别于传统课程的特点,讨论了学界对智慧教育的质疑以及斯腾伯格对此的回应。 The essay presents Sternberg's vital perspective of ' teaching for wisdom' for the alternative American education based on the balance theory of wisdom. It surveys the principles, contents and procedures of "teaching for wisdom", distinctive characteristics over traditional curriculum, and also, analyzes academic doubts involved and Sternberg's response.
