彭家煌作为“五四”新文化浪潮激荡下成长起来的新一代知识分子,在思想上和文学创作上都深受鲁迅的影响,成为重要的乡土小说家。他的小说不论是题材的选择,人物形象的塑造还是艺术手法的运用,都呈现出与鲁迅惊人的相似。

Peng Jia-huang is an intellectual of the new generation who grew up in the new culture tide of ＂the May Fourth Movement＂ and is deeply influenced by Lu Xun both in thoughts and literary areation, and has become the important native soil novelist. His novels show great similarity with the novels by Luxun in the choice of materials, the depicting of characters and the artistic methods.
