On Analysis of "Coherence"

基础主义在解决知识回溯问题上陷入了困境,这直接导致了另一种重要的替代理论——一致主义的产生。不过,一种完整的一致主义理论需要依靠它所指定的一致概念来界定,这样自然就转向了一个倍受关注的问题:究竟什么是“一致”?一致主义者通常按照两个可供取舍的思想来理解一致:经典的回答把“一致”理解为蕴含的一致,而新近的回答则是把“一致”理解为解释的一致。现在我们讨论的重点是前者。

Foundationalism falls into straits of solving epistemic regress problem which brings about another main theory directly Coherentism. But an integrated coherentism need to be differentiated depending on concept of coherence which specified. That spontaneously turns to a problem that is paid close attention： what actually is “coherence”？ Coherentist usually comprehends coherence according to two thoughts, which can be chose：classical response regards coherence as coherence as Implication. But late-response regards coherence as Coherence as Explanation. We mainly discuss the former.
