摘要
以往外语教学的评价方式主要是总结性评价,这种评价方式以考试成绩来评定学生的学习能力和教学质量,忽视了学生的学习过程以及他们日常的行为表现。而形成性评价则强调评价学生英语学习过程的变化和发展,明确学习中存在的问题和改进方向,以能及时修改和调整,获得更加理想的效果。因此,发挥学生的主体作用,通过多种形式、多种方法评价学生,并把评价渗透到英语学习和教学中,不断挖掘学生学习潜力,促进学生全面、和谐的发展。
There are two kinds of assessment in foreign language teaching. One is the formative assessment, and the other is the summative assessment. The summative assessment pays much attention on the result of students' examination. In contrast, the formative assessment pays more attention on the processes of the changing and the development in the students' study. It tells the students what their problems are and how they can solve them. It also tells the teachers to improve their teaching approaches in time.
