Vascular endothelial growth factor and its receptors in choroid and retinal neovascularization

摘要 眼底新生血管是多种眼病的并发症,研究发现促进眼底新生血管发生发展的最主要的因子是血管内皮生长因子,在这些眼病的病理过程中血管内皮生长因子表达上调,表达上调的血管内皮生长因子引起脉络膜或视网膜的新生血管。目前缺少针对眼底新生血管的有效的早期治疗手段,一系列下调或阻断血管内皮生长因子或其受体的药物和抑制二者结合后生物学效应发挥的药物已成为治疗眼底新生血管研究的热点之一。 Choroid and retinal neovascularization are the complications of several types of ophthalmopathy, and current researches discover that the most important enhancing factor of chomid and retinal neovascularization is vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). The expression of VEGF is up-regulated in these diseases, and up-regulated VEGF can induce choroid and retinal neovascularization. At present effective early treatment method of choroid and retinal neovascularization is defidency. One of the focuses in treating choroid and retinal neovascularization is researches on drugs which can either down-regulate or block VEGF as well as its receptors, or suppress the biological effects of VEGF after binding to its receptors.
