On Mao Tse-tung's Conception of Socialist Democracy

以毛泽东为代表的中国共产党人把马克思主义民主理论运用于我国民主政治建设的具体实践,领导中国人民成功地构筑了具有中国特色的社会主义民主政治制度的基本框架,形成了比较完整的社会主义民主思想,丰富和发展了马克思社会主义民主理论为建设中国特色社会主义民主政治指明了正确方向。

The Chinese Communists, outstandingly represented by Mao Tse--tung, applied the Marxist theory of democracy to the practice of our country＇s construction of democratic politics, guiding the Chinese people in building successfully the framework of socialist democratic political system with the Chinese characteristics, forming the comparatively integrated socialist democratic conceptions, enriching and advancing the Marxist theory of socialist democracy. It points out the correct direction of constructing the socialist democratic politics with the Chinese characteristics.
