Theories and Ideas from Outside of the Territory——On Chinese Modern Press in Translation and Dissemination of Aesthetics

20世纪初,中国美学进入了从古典向现代的转型时期。促成美学的转型有政治、经济、文化等多种因素,其中传播手段的革命是至关重要的。在西学东渐大潮中兴起的近代报刊改变了传统的审美机制,使美学从内容到形式都发生了根本性的变化,从而促成了中国美学的现代转型。

At the beginning of 20th century, the Chinese esthetics entered the modern transitional period from the classical period. The transition of esthetics has its political, economic and cultural reasons. The revolution of dissemination method is the key issue among the factors. During the introduction of western cultures into China, the modern press rose up to change the traditional esthetic mechanism, which caused esthetics all to have the fundamental change from the content tO the form. Then the modern press has facilitated the modern transition of Chinese esthetics.
