忠与孝自古以来就是中国传统道德观念中两个由来以久并矛盾统一的问题。它们在各个不同的历史时期有着不同的轻重地位和表现形式。魏晋时的褚氏家族弃忠扬孝,除了当时朝政更迭频繁,皆以篡立国外,更为了保持其家族利益的经久不衰及政治生命的延续有继。

Views on royalty and filial piety are two long-standing but contradictive and united problems in Chinese traditional morality Meas since a long time ago.They have different status and represent forms in every different history period, the Chu＇s in Wei and Jin Dynasties gave up royalty and advocated filial piety, the aim was keeping their family benefits from decline and lasting their political life, except for dynasty＇ s frequent alternating and usurping the throng at that time.
