The measurement is a fundamental work in the highway construction. The accuracy of the actual measurement has direct relation with the schedule and quality of the highway construction. This paper probes into the measuring error estimation in the highway construction and the problems in the measurement including the selection of the instruments, the accuracy estimation of the laying-out mid-line in polar coordinates, the accuracy estimation of the triangulated height and some measures for increasing the accuracy of the laying-out.
