The Definition of Particular Space——An Example of Nanjing Railway Station

文章对南京铁路旅客站从空间序列、空间布局、特质空间、建筑细部四个方面进行分析,表述南京铁路旅客站设计追求空间和技术的逻辑性,强调旅客体验和空间特质,是脱离了形式符号的追求、表达交通建筑特质空间的设计。

In this paper we analyse Nanjing railway station from four aspects which are the space array, spatial distribution, particular space and architecture detail. When we design Nanjing railway station, we not only pursue space and technology logical but also emphasize passenger＇ s experiencing and space speciality which is having broken away from the tradition way of symbolism.
