A Textual Research of the Character“Gen”“Huan” and Other Words Related to It

异体字整理后,“■”形皆作“亘”,二者有不同的来源和演变的轨迹,在演变过程中二形也有交叉。文章结合“■”、“亘”及所从“■”、“恒”、“■”诸字形义的分析,厘清了它们之间的复杂关系。

Mter the consolidation of variant forms,the form 亙（gen） was changed to the form 亘（huan）,however,the two forms had different source and evolution,also alternated in the evolution process. This article have cleaned up the complicated relation between them by analyzing the graphic form and semantic of the grahic symbol ＂gen （亙）, huan （亘）, heng （恆） , heng （恒）, gen （ ）
