摘要
对现有的实时阴影渲染算法进行详细的分析和比较,并给出了一种新的阴影渲染算法。该算法将阴影图和阴影体算法相结合,先通过阴影图绘制出阴影的轮廓,再利用阴影体算法更新轮廓处象素的模板缓冲值。该方法既克服了阴影图的边缘走样问题,又不会像阴影体算法那样占有大量的象素填充率。不仅渲染速度快,而且具有很好的渲染效果。
This paper analyses and compares some existing real- time shadow rendering algorithms firstly, then presents a new method for real - time shadow rendering algorithm. This method combines the strengths of shadow maps and shadow volumes. We first use a shadow map to identify shadow silhouette pixels in the final image, then use shadow volumes computation only at these pixels to ensure accurate shadow edges. This approach not only can handle the problem of aliasing in shadow map,but also can avoid have large fillrate requirements.
