Performance characteristics of natural silk and degreased cotton are introduced in this paper with the attentions in blending the two materials and technical measures in producing their blended yarn described from the viewpoint of spinning technology. The keys in this yarn development are the well management of the natural silk, the even mixing of the two materials and the well control of temperature and humidity in the whole of processing.
