Shiyan Immigrants and Their Impact on Shiyan during the Southern and Northern Dynasties

魏晋南北朝时期是一个战乱频繁的时代,造成大量北方人民南移,其中不少进入十堰山区。北方移民的迁入,有力地促进了十堰经济和社会的发展。

In Chinese history , wars happened frequently during the time of the Southern and Northern Dynasties. This caused a great number of northern people moving to the southern areas and many of them entered Shiyan mountainous area. The immigrants moved from the north effectively promoted the economical and social development of Shiyan.
