生命叙事是以生命为主体的叙事,它把对肉身的关怀逐步推进到类似宗教的精神境界。生命叙事是对生命现实的反思,它把叩问人类心灵的意义、慰藉和照耀人类的心灵作为自己的使命。生命叙事既要切入个体的生命体验、又要超越个体的生命体验,其最终的目标是催发、振奋人的蓬勃强健的生命力量。生命叙事应该成为作为“人学”的小说最基本、最重要的叙事方式。

Life narration takes life as its main concern, in which solicitude for the human body is elevated to a spir- itual level similar to religion. Life narration dwells upon the reflection on life itself, taking as its ultimate goal mak- ing inquiries into and illuminating human soul. Life narration should not only involve but also transcend individual＇ s life experience and aims to stimulate and strengthen mankind＇ s life power. It ought to become the most fundamental and the most important among different novel writings.
