Accelerate Railway Construction in Eastern Area, Provide Better Transport Support for Regional Economic Development

2006年,上海铁路局建设投资约占全路建设总投资的13%,大批重点工程的建成开通有效地缓解了区域内客货运能的紧张状况。区域完善的铁路网正在形成,东部铁路现代化的目标逐步变为现实。大批建设项目按期交付并高质量投产运营,为客货运量增长创造了条件,提高了运输能力、质量和效益。2007年,上海铁路局续建、拟开工和争取开工的项目超过30个,建设任务重,时间要求紧,标准要求高。在抓好运输经营的同时,要注重铁路建设的安全、质量和进度,有效筹措和用好资金,全力打造精品工程,全面提高铁路建设依法管理水平,加快培养高素质的建设人才队伍,努力完成东部铁路建设任务,为区域经济发展提供更好的运力支持。

In 2006, Shanghai Railway Administration completed many major projects, which alleviated tense situation of passenger and freight traffics in the area effectively. At present, a perfect regional network is coming into shape, and modernization of railway network in Eastern Area is being realized. Construction task is heavy, time is short and standard is strict. We shall manage transport operation and pay attention to safety, quality and progress of railway construction, build up excellent project, improve the level of“ management according to law” in railway construction, do our best to complete construction task in Eastern area, and provide better transport support for regional economic development.
