全球史的勃兴已经引起国际史坛的广泛瞩目。但过去其影响基本限于世界史学科范围内,而近来,“全球史观”在美国竟波及“美国本土史”的研究,以至形成“美国史全球化运动”(movement of globalizing American history)。这一动向是非常值得关注的。本文即对这场运动的来龙去脉略作梳理,并说明其学术旨趣及面临的挑战。
