Students＇ rating of effective teaching is widely used throughout the world. This method mainly focuses on the characteristics of teaching process. A majority of research suggests that effective teaching is multi - dimensional and asking students to evaluate effective teaching produces higher reliability and validity, and therefore has a moderate positive effect on teaching.
