Taking a hotel project in Macao as example, the author introduces the properties and application of GMP contract. By analyzing the characteristics of GMP contract, the author thinks that the cost contract have some advantages under the situations of project becoming more and more complicated and dangerous. The advantages include reducing negative effect of project risk to project, improving fulfilling abilities of contractor, oromotinz coooemtion between owner and contractor.
