男性乳房发育症组织中PTEN的表达及其意义

摘要 目的检测第10号染色体缺失的磷酸酶和张力蛋白同源物基因(phosphatase and tensin homology deleted on chromosometen,PTEN)在男性乳房发育症中(gynecomastia,GM)的表达及其意义。方法采用SP法免疫组化技术检测68例GM乳腺与24例对照组乳腺标本中PTEN的表达状况。将所选病例按年龄及组织学类型分为3组。结果PTEN在GM与正常男乳中主要表达在导管上皮细胞胞核中。GM中PTEN表达水平较降低(P<0.01)。PTEN在不同年龄组表达差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),且PTEN的表达在中年组、老年组、青年组依次降低;PTEN在不同组织学类型表达差异亦有统计学意义(P<0.05),且表达水平在硬化型、过渡型、旺炽型依次降低。结论男性乳房发育症乳腺组织中PTEN蛋白表达的异常可能与男性乳房发育症的发生有关。 Purpose To investigate the expression and significance of a tumor suppressor gene PTEN in gynecomastia. Methods Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of PTEN protein in 68 cases of gynecomastia and 24 cases of mammary gland of normal males. The selected examples were divided into three different age groups and three different histological types. Resuits In both gynecomastia and mammary gland of normal males, the PTEN protein was expressed mainly in the nuclei of ductal cellular epithelium. The expression level of PTEN protein in gynecomastia was significantly lower than that in mammary gland of normal males (P 〈 0. 01 ). The difference of the expression of PTEN protein in different age groups was statistically significant (P 〈 0. 05 ) , moreover, the expression level of PTEN protein decreased in the middle-aged group, elderly group, and youth group in turn. The expression difference of PTEN protein in three different histological types was statistically significant ( P 〈 0. 05 ), and the expression level decreased in sclerotic type, transitional type, and florid type in turn. Conclusion Abnormal expression of tumor suppressor gene PTEN in gynecomastia may play a role in the development of gynecomastia.
