The Interaction of Multiculturalism Construction in Uygur and Islam

新疆地处古丝绸之路的特殊地段,这里的本地文化中融合了中原汉文化、中亚的阿拉伯文化、波斯文化、粟特文化、北方的草原文化、南来的印度文化,以及周边国家和各兄弟民族文化等。本文旨在将维吾尔族的民居及伊斯兰教建筑中的结构和艺术装饰风格略举几项,从中缕述这些文化融合之所在。

The province of Xin jiang contains the Silk Road which is the corridor between China and the Middle East. Due to its proximity to the Chinese（Han）, Arabic Middle Asian , Northern Steppes, and Indian Sikk culture, the architecture in Xin jiang is influenced by all these surrounding countries. This essay will give some examples of Uygur and Islamic architecture and artistic decoration. Furthermore, the paper will examine the architectural and stylistic influence from the aforementioned proximate countries, while clarifying some of the misconceptions related to the origins those and many other artifacts.
