摘要
对于要在英语国家求学的中国学生来说,首先面临的便是从语言准备到学术环境和学习方式的调整与转变问题。本文以在澳大利亚的中国留学生为例,对他们在入学之前的语言强化学习进行了观察和分析,并就中国国内的英语教学提出了相应的建议,旨在帮助未来的留学生顺利地完成这一过渡阶段。
For the majority of Chinese students who are seeking their higher education abroad, the very first study task is the ELICOS (English Language Intensive Course for Oversea Students), which aims to smooth the transition from language preparation to the academic styles across their home country and the host country. Taking Australia for example, this essay presents the observations and reflections on the current situations of Chinese overseas students studying in Australian ELICOS centers in order to facilitate the successful adjustment of future students.
