中国法律硕士专业学位教育的创办与发展

The Creation and Development of China's J.M Education

中国法律硕士专业学位教育(JM)自1995年创办以来,历经十余年的发展,顺利完成试办任务,于2006年转入正式实施,成为经国家学位与教育主管部门批准正式实施的一项法学教育制度。作为以培养实践型、复合型高层次法律人才为目标的专业学位,法律硕士专业学位在全国法律硕士专业学位教育指导委员会和各培养单位的不断努力下,在招生规模、制度建设、教学用书编写、对外交流等方面取得了长足的进步和发展。今后,法律硕士专业学位教育的发展思路应由规模发展转向开展质量工程为指导方针;以"健全制度、优化结构、保证质量、稳步发展"为主要任务;以开展法律硕士专业学位教育的考察和评估,切实检查和落实新培养方案实施情况为中心环节,在提高对法律硕士专业学位重要地位作用的认识、建立正规化的管理制度、实现法律硕士与法律职业的有机衔接、稳定发展规模、扩大对外交流与合作等方面继续努力,切实提高法律硕士专业学位教育的质量。

After more than ten years development, the JM education in China finally accomplished its test task from its beginning in 1995, and had become one formal education system approved by the state degree governing body and ministry of education. The JM degree, which set it aim at fostering practice-oriented and disciplinary lawyers, has obtained great accomplishment under the continuing hard work of the National JM Degree Directing Committee in the scale of enrolment, the compihng of the teaching books, intercommunicating with the abroad etc. From now on, the develop idea of J.M education shall transform its guideline from scale development to quality control; shall make ＇bettering system, optimizing structure, securing quality and developing stably＇ as its main task; shall organize supervising and evaluating education of J. M degree, and set this work as the focus of its works; and shall never stop making hard work in promoting recognizing the important status of J.M education, realizing the maneuverable articulation of J.M education and legal profession, stabilizing the developing scale, enlarging foreign communication and corporation, and enhancing the quality of J. M education step by step.
