Towards He Qifang's Theory of Modern Metrics

在20世纪50年代关于诗的形式问题的讨论中,何其芳提出了现代格律诗理论。这种现代格律诗理论的提出有着不同于闻一多的初衷。何其芳研究新格律诗有几个参照系,即古典诗歌、民歌、国外诗歌和五四以来的新诗。何其芳的诗歌理论在关于新诗的格律的探索中有着其不可或缺的价值,但运用到诗歌写作的实践中也存在局限。

In the discussion about the peotic form in the 1950s, He Qifang put forward theory of modern metrical poem with different original intention from Wen Yiduo. His approaches to new metrical poem were based on such references as classical poetry,ballad,foreign poetry and Chinese new poem. His theory is of essential value in the approach to metrics of new poem;however, it has some restriction in the practice of poem writing.
