As expounded in this thesis, documents resources play an essential role in a library. Therefore, they must be well procured. Different sums or types of documents need different ways to procure. Invitation of bids is the most popular way of procurement of documents resources. Whatever way of procurement is adopted, certain law must be strictly observed and basic tactics be grasped.
