A Comparative Study on the Legal English Teaching Model

我国现有法律英语本科复合型法律人才三种教学模式除存在学时得不到保证、师资力量有限和教材陈旧落后的问题外,最主要的问题是没统一的法学复合型人才培养模式的教学要求标准。实践法学复合型人才培养模式并达到教学要求标准的基本途径是修订和完善现行教学大纲,或者制定新的统一的《高校法学英语专业教学大纲》。

After the investigations on the current three different models for legal English teaching, the paper explores the reasons for the teaching problems： insufficient periods, lack of qualified teachers and the impractical course-books. The possible solution is either improving the current teaching syllabus or making a specific syllabus for the legal English teaching.
