释“切”——传统文论关键词研究之一

ON THE INTERPRETATION OF “QIE” AS A KEY WORD IN CLASSICAL LITERARY THEORIES

“切”是我国传统文论发展史上一个重要的审美范畴。它不但用于诗话、词话、曲话和文话,还更集中、更普遍地用于联话这种传统文论体式之中。就联话而言,无论作为审美标准还是作为创作法则,其意均指楹联的内容与题目或者题咏对象切合、符合、相宜、和谐统一。

Qie, as an important aesthetic category in China＇s classical literary theories, has been applied in the notes or comments on poetry, Ci, Qu （or lyric）, prose and YingLian, In the notes on YingLian, a field where Qie is more widely used than any other, Qie denotes the ideal harmony, appropriateness and fitting between the content ofa YingLian and its title or subject no matter whether it acts as a standard of aesthetics or as a law for the composing of YingLian.
