A STUDY OF THE THEORY OF THE SCHOOL OF HUXIANG POETS

以王闿运、邓辅纶为首的湖湘诗派在近代诗坛上有着非常重要的地位,它不仅拥有一批优秀的诗人,而且有自己独特的诗歌理论。约而言之,湖湘诗派的理论可以概括为三点:一、注重摹拟;二、力求出新;三、讲究诗法。这三点也正是湖湘诗派得以在近代诗坛独树一帜的重要原因。

The School of Huxiang poets （湖湘诗派） which is headed by Wang Kaiyun and Deng Fuguan, takes a very important position in the modem circle of poets. It not only has a lot of outstanding poets, but also has its own theory. In a word, the theory of school of Hunan poetry is summarized into three points： attaching importance to mimicking, pursuing novation and emphasizing on the method of creating poems. These points are the cultures in the modem circle of poets.
