摘要
通过综合考虑无线网络传输时延、流媒体片段内部流行度以及用户终端缓存空间大小对流媒体分发质量的影响,提出了一种基于最大缓冲时间的P2P流媒体分发缓存算法,算法考虑了无线网络传输时延、流媒体中断的位置及用户提供的计算资源.性能分析表明,它与仅考虑无线网络传输时延的缓存算法相比,能减少流媒体分发起动时延和播放抖动时延,可有效地提高无线Ad Hoc网络中P2P流媒体分发质量.
Caching is a key technique for improving the performance of peer to peer media streaming delivery in Ad Hoc networks. This paper proposes a cache algorithm based on maximum buffering time for peer to peer media streaming delivery in wireless Ad Hoc networks, it concerns about the streaming transmitting delay in wireless networks, the media segmentrs internal popularity and the mobile terminals' cache size. Comparing to the cache algorithm based on transmitting delay, the analytical performance result shows that the proposed cache algorithm can decrease the start-up latency and latency jitter for media streaming distribution. So it can effectively improve the QoS of peer to peer media streaming delivery in wireless Ad Hoc networks.
