高校教师要提倡“和而不同”的风范,讲求教育中多元的和谐、异质的协调与对立的消解,从而持之有度,以提升自身的品德,以利于因材施教、自身身心的发展、社会的和谐。

Teachers in institutions of higher learning should have the Moral Character of ＂being accommodating but not one of the crowd＂..They should strive for a plural harmony in education, for harmonizing what are heterogene- ous, and for clearing up what are in opposition so as to improve their own moral characters to facilitate the teaching of students in accordance with their aptitude, the improving of their own physical and mental health and to promote soial harmony.
